Boost immune system with raw smoothies

1tbs wheatgrass, 1 tbs chia seeds, 1tbs hemp seeds, 1cup chopped mango, 4tbs blueberries and raspberries, soygurt vanilla. If you want it less sweet, add strawberries instead of mango. Banana is also a good substitute for mango.

  • Wheatgrass contains 70% chlorophyll which increases production of red blood cells, reduces cholesterol levels, lowers blood pressure, strengthens immune system, purifies blood and stimulates healing.
  • Blueberries are number one on the list of berries with most antioxidants. We’ve already heard that antioxidants is some kind of a cure against anything. The antioxidants in blueberries are called flavonoids and anthocyanins and they defend the body against free radicals. The fewer free radicals the body gets exposed to (the more the body fights them), the better immune system you’ll have and less infections.
  • Mango contains the powerful essential amino acid lysine which prevents infections like cold sores/herpes. Cold sores usually break out because of weakened immune system. Mango is also rich in C-vitamin, an antioxidant that protects against oxygen radicals (harmful substances formed in our cells when they use oxygen to generate energy).
